PlainPen helps rewrite text, draft from materials, prepare scripts and reports, summarize, translate and compose replies. AI outputs are suggestions. Check names, facts, numbers, references and meaning before using or sharing them. Source references locate submitted material and are not independent fact verification.
You retain any rights you hold in your submitted content. Submit only material you have the right to use and share with the listed processors. Do not use PlainPen for unlawful conduct, impersonation, infringement or abusive interference with other systems. You are responsible for the final text you choose to publish.
The free allowance is 20 AI requests per UTC calendar month for a guest or Apple account. When you sign in with Apple on this device, successful guest replies from the current month count toward that account's free allowance. PlainPen Pro includes 300 requests per UTC calendar month on either the monthly or annual plan. Allowances do not roll over. Upgrading raises the current month's total allowance to 300; it does not add 300 to an existing allowance. Network and company-wide budget limits can temporarily pause new AI requests.
The US base prices are $14.99 per month and $69.99 per year. The local price and period displayed by Apple before confirmation apply. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Apple charges renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in your Apple account subscription settings. Cancellation normally preserves access through the paid period unless Apple refunds or revokes it. No trial or unlimited allowance is promised. Apple handles refund requests.
A successfully completed AI reply uses one allowance unit, including a follow-up reply. Background conversation summaries may be used for signed-in accounts and do not use an additional reply allowance unit. Guest conversations use confirmed context trimming instead of a second paid summary call. A failed task releases its reserved unit. A client connection error does not establish that the server task failed; check task status before retrying. A new request may consume another unit. Subscription payments are separate from task allowance. Local editing and export remain available without an AI subscription. Online service depends on an internet connection.
